How You Know You’re a Nerd

I’ve been working on a resume and cover letter the last few days. I’m hoping to get a job at Colin’s company in New York (but trying to keep my hopes low so I won’t be disappointed.) Anyway, I had a resume that needed to be updated but no cover letter. Whatever, that is completely besides the point. This is the interesting part.

The resume was written on Windows. Then it was edited on my Mac, and then on a new Linux laptop that I have acquired.

The cover letter was again written on windows, and edited then on the Linux laptop and finally sent from my Powerbook.

So my documents touched three different computers with three different operating systems before getting sent off to Colin. I think that is enough qualification for the job right there.

Good luck with New York. I’m also looking for my next job but in the LA/San Diego area.
