LOL. I don’t watch TV anymore. I read reports from people who watch TV: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/browse?ao=0
We watch because it isn’t really news. It is entertainment. I’m not saying it’s GOOD entertainment, but people line up to watch stupid horror movies, or watch re-runs of insipid sit-coms over and over again. This is just another form of that. They engage us by using all the standard tricks of drama and fiction, not caring in the least about anything as mundane as the TRUTH. But at least you have the sense to realize that it’s not real news. The problem is the morons who see this elaborate melodrama and think it is TRUTH.
