I know that it is amazing, but I’m actually keeping myself pretty busy here in New York. Tonight I’m stuck at home because I’m on call, so I decided that I’d write up a little something about what is going on in my life.
Worked Saturday. Off Sunday. Worked Monday. Off Tuesday. This is in preperation for our datacenter move on Friday. We are going to start at around 9:00 at night on Friday and not finish until midnight Saturday (or is it Sunday?) So yeah, that works out to about a 40 hour work day. But then I get off next Friday.
Next Friday – Fil gets here. I have no clue what to do with him, and his response to the question “What do you want to do in New York?” was “Do you think that I’d know the answer to that question?” Yeah… Still I’m looking forward to it a bunch.
There is a possibility that I might start working from 11 – 8 at work as opposed to 9-6. I’m kinda keen on the idea. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Fresh Direct is the best thing ever. They bring groceries to my door. And they gave me a free cookie tonight.
A little more than 2 weeks until Florida with the family. That’ll be fun. I plan on doing absolutely nothing. Besides causing my usual amount of trouble.
So that’s about it. Everything is still surreal, and that’s why I haven’t really posted what it is like here. The best way I can explain it is that everything seems pretend.
Bye.

Thanks for posting. I love hearing about your New York life. The weekend sounds dreadful – your Grandpa had many of those marathons. Think of it as a rite of passage. Beats hell out of some of the primitive tribess rites, but still I wish you didn’t have to go through it. Much love.
