Things I’ve Liked About New York

I’ve been so negative about living here, and I thought that, on my 3rd to last night in NYC, it was about time to talk about the things that I actually like about the city. So this is my list.

Amy Ruth’s – A restaurant in Harlem that serves fried chicken and waffles. This is an amazing food, which apparently they serve someplace in St. Louis as well.

Fresh Direct – A website that allows you to order groceries online. It ends up being cheaper than going to the store, AND they deliver, which rocks if you live on the 5th floor of a walkup.

Beautiful Women – I can’t even describe how many people I fall in love with on a daily basis. On average I’d say 10.

LaGuardia – A smallish airport that can get you anywhere in the country. So much better than JFK. SO much better.

Ziti Pizza – Pizza where the topping is ziti pasta. I’m pretty sure this isn’t good for you.

Coney Island – You can see some crazy people wearing not nearly enough clothes here.

Crazy People – Sure, the women who threw up on herself was gross at the time, but it makes a great story now.

Okay, so I can’t think of anything more than this right now. But if I do I’ll come back and add to it. But this is a decent start, I think.

Don’t forget the subways and museums! I love how I can get anywhere I want to for $2 (once I get to the city, that is). I’m going to miss you, Nathan!

You are absolutely right about both of those things.

And I’m gonna miss you too. I wish we could have hung out more.
