Now that we are down to the final 12 I thought that it was about time for me to update everyone about who I want to win, and why they should. And maybe some other random comments.
Katharine McPhee
For a while she has been my favorite contestant. She has a very sweet voice, and she is totally hot. In general I prefer male singers, but I think I would still be happy if she won.
Taylor Hicks
Everyone loves Taylor, right? I mean, he looks like he is about 40, and when he dances you can’t help but thing that something is seriously wrong with him. I really do worry that there is something wrong, deep in his brain. But he can sing, and he’s just so happy. I like that he is so old school, too, because excluding rap, I think music used to be much better back in the day. There is actually a website out there that has some songs of his, and I listen to them for enjoyment, so that counts for something, right?
Bucky Covington
I might even like Bucky more than Katharine. He just seems so… genuinely hoosier. And that’s awesome. On his profile on the A.I. website he says that if he couldn’t sing he’d want to be a racecar driver. How can you not love that?!?!?! And I truly do like the way he sings. I even downloaded the last episode so that I could listen to his singing.
Elliott Yamin
Alright, he can sing. And I really like his voice. But he looks a lot like Abraham Lincoln. And that is not a good thing. Not a good thing at all.
Melissa McGhee
Wow, her last name is close to Katharine’s. I never noticed that. Anyway, all I have to say is that this girl is ROUGH. R O U G H.
Chris Daughtry
I like this guy. He can wail, and I’d probably listen to him on the radio. And he is a white guy who is bald and doesn’t look like a thumb. So you gotta love that.
The other contestants I don’t care so much about. Oh, except I really hate the weeny little dude Kevin. I mean, come on. How did he make it through and Gedeon didn’t??
