Forest Park Parkway

Something so amazing happened tonight that I almost forgot how unhappy I have been lately. Forest Park Parkway is mostly reopened. I can get all the way from my apartment to work on it. This is such great news.

I’ve been seriously missing this road for about 3 years now. It is almost the only road I ever need. And I plan on enjoying it as much as I can until they start messing with 40 and everyone else wants to come join me on my road.

    I dread the close of Highway 40. They say now that they will leave one lane. Saturday on the way to the shower I got into the worst traffic jam I have ever seen because of work on HIway KK near Hiway 70. The line to get off at Mid RIvers Mall Drive stretched for over a mile, and as usual some drivers would not get into the line and go around and try to squeeze in at the last minute, and there was always some dip who would let them. Not me.
