More About Chicago

So I’m not going to post a recap, but just some of the highlights.

The hostel was truly awesome. Sure, the sleeping situation sorta sucked, but that doesn’t really matter. There were a ton of people there that were awesome to meet. Foreigners rule. It was awesome just to talk to people from different places with crazy accents. And the hostel had a whole bunch of events planned. Dancing, seeing the ballet and symphony, and a whole bunch of other things. It was really the highlight of the trip.

The Cubs game was… A cubs game. I spent most of the time on my Treo. But Craig and Casey had a really good time, and it was a gorgeous day, and I had a hot dog and a couple of nachos, so it was a success in the end.

We saw some bastardization of second city. Like the second team, second city. It was so not funny that it was funny. We went with Lucia and a guy from the UK and a girl from Australia. I feel bad that this is now what we think is funny. I also had dinner another night with a guy from Australia. I like Australians now.

I saw a friend of mine from high school, Teresa. That was a lot of fun. It is really crazy to meet up with people from high school. The internet is great for stuff like that.

So yeah, overall I had a really, really good time. I would definitely go back in a second, and definitely stay back in the hostel. Hostel is the bomb.

I’m very glad you had such a good time. So, you’re definitely ready for a European Vacation then? :-)

Unlimited supply of foreigners, unlimited supply of crazy accents (although I’m personally convinced that YOU guys are the ones with the crazy accents >;-) Unlimited supply of soccer (orange and all other colors). We even throw in some American girls dressed in just the American flag (really: the flag, the entire flag and nothing but the flag). The beer and the coffee will be better anyway :-)
