I’ve been watching a lot of Good Eats with Alton Brown lately. So I got it in my head that I could cook, and tonight I really wanted some pan fried chicken.
Well the flour didn’t stick to the chicken.
Then the egg wash took off most of the flour.
The breadcrumbs were too wet and didn’t stick to the chicken because the chicken was too cold.
I forgot to salt the chicken.
Any of the breadcrumbs that did stick fell off immediately when it went into the oil.
These burned causing a horrible smell.
The chicken ended up burnt on the outside, uncooked on the inside.
I finished it in the microwave so it was rubbery.
I think that I’m done cooking for a while.
