Building a Wall

I spent most of last weekend building a wall. And when I say “building a wall” I mean “sitting around and running errands for my dad”. But whatever, it was sort of fun.

The even more fun part comes this weekend, when we get to drywall. I know a lot of things about drywall, because I used to watch a bunch of home building shows. For example, I know that it is dry. And used on walls. And is ridiculously hard and tedious to install. So that should be a lot of fun. Oh yeah, I also have to carry like 300 pounds of it up to the 3rd floor of my parents house.

In a complete side note, I have a new favorite thing. I bought this board game, Carcassonne, and it is amazing. Basically you lay tiles and build up a map, and score points based on various factors. It is an awesome game, and I highly recomend it.

Recommendation enthusiastically seconded. This is coming from someone who has lost 87.5% of the games thus played.

I play carcasonne with my family! I agree, it’s a good time!

Have you ever played “settlers of catan,” another great game?
