I start the first semester of my MS tonight with a very important class. “Music of the Beatles”.
Yeah, yeah. Not a CS class. Not even a Master’s level class. Well whatever. It is a UCollege class, so I can take it for free, and I’ve wanted to take it for 6 and a half years.
Monday night the “real” fun starts. And that part scares me.

Your first graduate class is always your hardest. Just remember that you can do it and put the time into the class and you will do fine. I believe in you.
Howdy Nathan,
I ran into this interesting bit of writing about the Beatles and thought of your “Very Important Class on the Music of the Beatles”.
The article offers some spot-on sociological & musicological context for the Beatles’ music. (The part about them begins at the very bottom of the page, and continues on the following page.)

(He who sang a Beatles song at your parents’ wedding. WOO-HOO!)
We agree with David Donnell…in fact Puzzling Evidence should be required reading of your class.
