Is anyone else out there as excited about the start of the NASCAR season as I am?!?!
I was pumped this weekend. The Bud Shootout AND Qualifying.
The only sad thing is that the Toyotas didn’t do that well. Oh well. I guess it will take time. On the plus side, Juan Pablo Montoya has been kicking butt. I really hope he tears it up this year, just to show all of those uppity rednecks that there is more to the world than good ol’ boys.
But really, I’m just thrilled that we have racing back again. And I definitely feel like I’m the only one.

Did Tony Stewart really need to win the butthole? I mean, it’s his third. Give some other guys a go.
Zach would love to share the love of NASCAR with you…but something tells me you might be annoyed after the first 5 minutes! Actually when we need a moments peace, the speed channel works wonders! As a hick in progress who is married to a born-and-raised hick and mother to hick-lets, I do find this part of you entertaining.
Ange – I’d suggest a spring/summertime weekend dinner at our house and then I’ll take my hick (Nathan) and your hicks (Zach and Greg) to the stock car races in Herculaneum. Meanwhile you can have a nice time with Elaine and Abby.
