You may remember a while ago I posted that Baba was in the hospital and nursing home because of a broken shoulder. Well now she is back home, after extensive fixes to various parts of her house, and is occasionally reading smackie again.
I know that the staff here at “The Frog” is happy that she is home. Not really because she no longer has to suffer out there at the nursing home, away from her stuff and the comforts of home. No, it has much more to do with the fact that it wasn’t a lot of fun going out to the nursing home to visit her. This “at home” thing works much better for me.
Anyway, I’m sure that everyone is glad that Baba is back, and if you feel that way, you can leave her a comment. Or leave me a comment. Either way.

One day when I was leaving the nursing home, this very proper looking lady was just behind me so I held the door open for her. You know the type…coiffed hair, stuffy looking clothes, kind of grim looking. Definitely not a soulmate. And as she walked out she said, “Leaving this place I always want to go get really drunk. It’s such shit. Oh, sorry.”
I think that pretty much sums it up.
So welcome home Baba! I’m sure they’re missing her at the home, though. She was definitely the most interesting inmate they’ve ever seen there.
Funny, I have the same desire to go get hammered whenever I leave baba’s house. So much shit.
