I think I have successfully completed my first semester as a graduate student. My only graduate level CS class is over, and I’m pretty sure that I’m going to get an A in it. If fact, if I don’t get an A, I will be completely shocked. I’m also pretty sure I’ll get an A in my UCollege class, but that doesn’t really matter.
This semester was easy, though. I basically went to class and sat there. We had 2 things to do for the entire semester, so it really wasn’t that bad. This summer, however, might be a little different. I’ve signed up to take a 500 level Artificial Intelligence class that is actually going to require things like “programming” and “homework”. And Phil won’t be in it.
But still, in a couple of weeks when I officially get my grade I should be 1/10th of the way towards my Master’s Degree, and that’s pretty close, right?

a damn good start. i’ll put aside a grand that says you’ll make it
I don’t know…my experience with graduate level classes is that it’s a lot of listening and thinking and reading rather than doing, not a lot of homework. But maybe CS classes are different.
Good job Nathan! Where the hell are the pictures of your dog? Thanks! Bye.
