Mid 20′s

Kelly and I have been having a debate about where the lines for “early”, “mid”, and “late” come in terms of ages. I know that is vague, so follow me.

I say that the following are the rules
Early 20′s: 20-24
Mid 20′s: 25-28
Late 20′s: 29

Early 30′s: 30
Mid 30′s: 31-32
Late 30′s: 33-39

She says the rules are more like
Early 20′s: 20-23
Mid 20′s: 24-26
Late 20′s: 27-29

Early 30′s: 30-33
Mid 30′s: 34-36
Late 30′s: 37-39

Now I think her rules are just wrong. They don’t even make any sense. There is no reason to classify the 20s and 30s the same way. That just doesn’t seem logical. Right?

Let me know what you think. As long as you think I’m right.

You’ve got it ALL wrong. Early 20s = the first six months of 20. The rest of it’s all mid until the day after your 25th birthday. So enjoy the last day of your mids!

we aren’t totally old.. but we are officially on our way to thirty. Which I hear is the new 20… I will decide when I get there. Which by then I will have a 5 year old and more than likely a 2 or 3 year old. Now that will either make me feel young or really really old. Happy Birthday either way! I hope it has been a good one for you.

I agree with Kelly. I am 32 and I would *never* consider myself in my mid-30s…gasp!?!?!? Apparently I have bigger problems because now I am second guessing myself. I am 32, right? Hmm.
