ADIS is the name of the project that I’ve been working for the last 2 years. The one that has kept me busy for the last month or so. Well now it is officially in production, so things have slowed down and I’m back to working pretty much normal hours.
Still, we have a lot of problems. Apparently we didn’t do quite as good a job as we had thought at making sure there weren’t bugs. It kinda makes me feel bad.
But not really, because of stuff that has happened. I can’t talk about it, but trust me.

Your grandfather sometimes had to go back and make corrections too.
Don’t worry. There is NO such thing as bug-free software. As a rule of thumb you should expect 1 (still undiscovered) bug for each 100 lines of code. Make your own calculation. Why do you think do we have all these maintenance organizations?
i don’t even understand how it’s possible to write two years worth of code. i can’t even figure out how to make a basic website for myself, so, bugs or not, you’re lightyears ahead of me.
Well first… CONGRATULATIONS! Second, you should hire me as your beta tester! My company hated me (in a sense)because I could ‘break things’ when doing test cases like no ones business. I am an issue queen (in more ways then one). Apparently they don’t want Beta testers, just people to say “Yep, works great. Publish away.”
hey…are you and kelly still coming this weekend?
sorry you’re feeling badly. you really shouldn’t. i hate the new ADIS, like, 20% less than i did when it rolled out 2 weeks ago and i could barely function in my job. so, that’s improvement!
i still want some of my old fields back. where oh where did they go? sniff.
