I’m pretty liberal. In fact, I’m very liberal. At least in the sense that I like gays. But I also like the idea of small government that stays out of our business, because I think that small government promotes civil rights.
So recently I’ve been really thinking a lot about Ron Paul. I don’t agree with all of his positions, like his stance on abortion. But he is so principled and consistent, that it is hard not to like him. Heck, I even donated money to him.
I guess the question is how do I feel about this? Out of all of the candidates running, I think I like him the most, from either party. There aren’t really any democrats that excite me.
What is wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong with you. It’s called caring about the constitution and your rights. Cheers.
Oh. Come by ronpaulforums.com and chat with us if you’ve not already.
What’s wrong with you is you’re insufficiently conditioned for groupthink and have a strange immunity to salute-the-party zealotry. Report to the Ministry at once.
Honesty is compelling, isn’t it?
If you figure out what’s wrong with you, let me know so I won’t lose anymore sleep at night worrying about you. Seriously you’re much farther along than I am figuring this stuff out.
I, too, find him impressive, but my number one choice is Al Gore. When a mistake is made it should be corrected.
