Kelly and I started on an quest back in January to redo her downstairs bathroom. Through a series of events that took place before I was around (which I can only assume involved her turning on the tub and leaving the house for a week), her downstairs bathroom had no ceiling and was missing one of the walls. Well dad helped up drywall and frame in a ceiling and wall. That was in April.
So this last weekend I got around to taping and sanding the drywall, and then Kelly and I painted it. So it is done. And it looks fabulous.
The moral of this story. Estimated time to complete a minor remodeling of a small bathroom: 11 months.

That’s a job well done. It oughta be, after 11 months. Thanks, guys!
That was a quick redo. I don’t get to complain about a bathroom remodel until it passes the 18 month mark. My basement is now going on 2 1/2 years and I get to start complaining.
Congrats. It’s been over 5 years and we still haven’t finished our bathroom. Now the hall bathroom needs to be fixed too. Dang.
