Last night Phil, Charley, Dad, and I went to the car show. We generally go each year, so we trudged through the cold last night to check out the newest offerings. Before I get to my main point I would like to say that if you were planning on going, don’t. It was the most boring car show I have been to yet. There were very few exciting cars, and almost no very expensive cars. Jaguar only brought one car, and Aston Martin didn’t even bother coming. On top of that it seems like new car designers have completely lost any sense of creativity.

But there was one car that I liked, and I’m embarrassed to admit it. I sat in a Cadillac Escalade, and I really liked it. I know, they are stupid and big and unnecessary and poorly built and all of that stuff. But sitting in one, you feel amazing. You are up high, but somehow you feel cozy. And you definitely feel very much in power.

Now obviously I would never buy one of these. I have better things to do with $80,000. But I can definitely understand why rappers buy them. And if I had an unlimited supply of money, I might even consider buying one.
