STLToday’s Story about the attack
It turns out that Phil is going to have to have surgery. It is scheduled for Monday at 11:00 or something like that, and after that he will have a 2 week recovery time.
He has asked that in lieu of flowers or cards, everyone send me money so that I can buy an iPhone.

It is unclear yet whether Phil is going to need surgery. The bone below his eye is broken, but it is right on the borderline of where they do surgery or not. He is going to see a specialist on Wednesday to get it evaluated, and we should know more then.

Today is Phil’s 23rd birthday. In 3 less years than me he has accomplished the following:
Gotten engaged.
Found a job with a much higher salary than mine.
Gotten a master’s degree.
However, I will always be his older brother, and therefore, I will always know better.
