I know that I’ve been back for a week, but I’m finally going to get around to some highlights of the trip.
-The weather was amazing. I think that it was 75 and sunny every day that I was there. I can imagine how it might get old to have weather like that every day, but for a long weekend it was perfect.
-Phil and Helen have this cat named Misty. Misty is insane. Her favorite thing to do is to bite people. She spent almost my entire trip out there biting me. One time she bit so hard that she lost one of her baby teeth in my hand. That was nice.
-We went to two very interesting museums. The Computer History museum, and the Hiller Aviation museum. Both were a lot of fun and I’d definitely recommend them if you go out there.
-It was a lot of fun seeing Phil and Helen. We play some games and I totally won, in part because of my well played strategy of acting stupid at specific times.
-Yahoo has the exact same food in their cafeteria as Wash U does. Literally, the same company.
-I think you’d be hard pressed to get me back on US Air. They really did totally suck.

Glad you had a good trip. I wish my cat would bite the boys once in awhile. And I wish it was sunny and 75 here.

Let me quote from a earlier smack-o-gram:
“Give me a chair, a seatbelt, a good pilot, and I’ll take care of the rest of it myself.”
which implies that you must have had a standing place, the only thing you could hold yourself to was your neighbor, and the one and only flight attendant was also doing the flying. (and someone stole your bottle of water)
But things can be worse: last Friday I was on a Lufthansa flight and I observed how my coffee came out of its cup and took a round shape…..
(yes, they included a free roller coaster ride)
