The day before I went to California last week it was cold. Like in the 40s. And then the day that I left, it got up into the 70s.
While I was in California, the temperature was pretty much in the 50s the entire time. Not cold, but not exactly warm. Certainly not what people think when you say “California”. Anyway, I’ve been told that it was in the 70s here while I was gone. Okay, that was going to be nice to come back to.
When my plane landed last night, it was 73 degrees out. By the time I was home, it was already on its way down into the 40s. Today I woke up and it was in the 20s.
So basically, I think that it is my fault that the cold weather is back. Although it could be argued that it only came in the first place because I left. Still, I feel like I should apologize for ruining what probably would have been a perfectly nice Wednesday had I stayed out West.
