I have written a new post, but it is saved, and I will publish it once I have finished a couple of things up. So until then, a small anecdote.
I have been programming lately. For fun. Which is actually something that I have never done. Even though I program for work every day, and programmed for years at school, I never actually did it for fun, or for myself, or for something that I wanted to do. But a couple of weeks ago, I decided to do it, and I have been.
I’m really having a good time with it, and in a way it has reminded me why I started programming in the first place. It is difficult, and fun, and causes me to think, and is making me actually learn things again. It is nowhere close to being done, so I can’t post screenshots or anything, but hopefully I won’t give up on it and can actually reach some sort of end product.
Oh, and just as a small overview, the game is a 2d turn based, text based, multiplayer, client-server, medieval war game where to teams of fighters and wizards and stuff battle on a field to destroy the other teams castle. Yay!

You are wonderful! Your grandfather would be so proud. I know your grandmother is. This is a form of creative self-expression, like I do with my needlwork stuff, and is not work but is fun.
