I have this real problem with jobs. It seems to happen around the same time, I’m noticing. After about 2 years at a given place, I start to get real antsy. And as it turns out, today is my 2 year anniversary here. And so guess what? Yep, I’m getting antsy. I don’t know what [...]
In the past I’ve talked about making ridiculous travel choices based on what airplane I wanted to fly. Usually it isn’t that ridiculous, though. There is only 1 non-stop flight between here and San Francisco, so usually, unless you want to pay extra, you’re going to be making a connection somewhere. And as long as [...]
So the wedding is over, and it went really, really well. And for those of you that missed it, I have posted what I said online. This doesn’t include the vows, but it does get the meat and potatoes. Thanks to Janice for filming this!
So the time has almost come. This Saturday Phil and Helen are getting married. Between now and then, I have to accomplish the following things: get pants hemmed, go to soccer game, go to roller skating, buy 44 bottles of cider, plan party for Phil, get hair cut, possibly shave, finish writing wedding ceremony, pick [...]
So you may have noticed that I haven’t been posting as much. Well, it turns out that my anxiety wasn’t nearly as gone as I thought it was. In face, in some ways, it is back worse than ever. I’ve been fighting with that, and so again, the blog has to wait. I don’t want [...]
As most of you know, today is my Dad’s birthday. So let’s all wish him a big Happy Birthday!
As most of you know, Kelly is off on a road trip. Well she is keeping a blog of her adventures, and so far it is really good. So you all should read it. http://bigskyway.wordpress.com/

I know it is a day late, but Happy Birthday, Jeanne. We here at the Frog apologize for the delay. Things have been a little out of control here at the head offices.
The weird dreams had gone away. But now they are back. Somehow I had ended up in the Army, and I was sent to Baghdad. So I got there and I was bummed out and shit, and was thinking about how to use my diabetes to get de-enlisted. But in the meantime this woman came [...]
Just a short update. I’m still around. I’ve been in California since last Thursday visiting Phil. I fly out on a red-eye tonight and I’ll be back at work tomorrow. I’m doing a little better. Not a lot, but a little, and enough better to make it through the days acceptably.
There once was a Gov. named St. Mark With an outlook both righteous and dark He told folks what to do Hey y’all gays – don’t y’all screw! And he packed up his gear for the park. Well it turns out “the park” was a lie Cause the Gov had a ticket to fly There [...]
The editors and staff here at “The Frog” would like to send a great big happy birthday out to Abby. We haven’t always made it easier on her, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t like her. So Happy Birthday!
I have written a new post, but it is saved, and I will publish it once I have finished a couple of things up. So until then, a small anecdote. I have been programming lately. For fun. Which is actually something that I have never done. Even though I program for work every day, and [...]
A very good movie, but why do people insist on using time travel? I mean, I know why they did it, but it just doesn’t make any sense, when you really think about it. In fact, I’d say that time travel should never be used as a plot device in science fiction movies. Because you’re [...]
We here at the frog would like the wish a happy mother’s day to all of the moms that read our blog!
To my fellow agnostics out there, maybe today is important!
I don’t know if you’ve heard about these tea parties that are going on, but basically it is a bunch of people gathering and protesting the moves that the Obama administration is making, basically saying that they shouldn’t be giving bailouts and raising taxes and stuff like that. I don’t really care about them, because [...]
I was doing some thinking this morning, which is always a dangerous proposition. Specifically I was thinking about Easter. And for some reason, the thought popped into my head “What am I going to dress as for Easter”, as if Easter were Halloween. That entertained me for a few seconds, and I moved on. But [...]
